Laptop Problems? We’ve got you covered.

There are many reasons to be nervous about the first day of school. Don’t let your school laptop be one!

If you gave your computer back to school last year, we have new ones we can give you on the first day. Call or text our technology coordinator Bram Moreinis ("Mr. M") to set up an appointment: (413) 455-0321‬, or email him: bmoreinis@springfieldrenaissance.org.

If you have a laptop that’s broken or not working, call the Student Help Desk ASAP and get a repair code.

  • If it’s something they can fix remotely, they’ll try to do it during the call. Be ready for that.

  • If we need to wipe the computer clean, we’ll loan you an older machine you can use for a few days. Bring it to school and bring the code you were given by the Help Desk.

  • If the physical device is broken (like a cracked screen), we’ll give you a replacement. Bring it to school and bring the code you were given by the Help Desk.

Warning: you only get one replacement this year.

If you break your computer twice, you don’t get one to take home anymore, and will have to borrow an older machine and return it the same day in school in order to participate fully in digital work. Take care of it!
